More importantly is go 18 innings! Wear your asses down, right into the dust. Collide with each other, a lot. No serious injuries, just the kind will let you keep playing, but not quite at your best for a few weeks! Play your hearts out. Leave them thumping on the field so we can stomp on them...

With their rotation, the Nationals cold be tough, however, their bullpen is atrocious, so no lead is safe.
I don't even know how the Brewers made it this far (no wonder Maddon got canned), so they are playing with house money.

But then again that was true of the Yankees in 2000 and we know how that turned out. Any team that gets this far is to be respected and could be dangerous...The fact that the Brewers played well without Uelich in the stretch is quite 2019 Yankee-like and make a team very strong mentally and emotionally... |
