Yankees will get home field if the rays pull this off somehow. Maybe that was the plan all along...

I hope Game 5 goes like 14 innings... or at least end with a high score... high score = more pitchers used

The way Tampa is playing they won’t be pushovers if the Yanks get them in the ALCS. I certainly would prefer to have home field advantage and would rather not face Verlander and Cole but either way it will be a tough series with two very good teams. Tampa is not the Twins who fattened up their record and stats beating up a weak division all year.

That said, the Yankees could really use home field advantage in the ALCS.

Go Tampa! What an upset that would be... But fear no one. Championships are not for cowards...

I wonder if the Tampa Bay players would vote to play the entire series at Yankee Stadium to avoid Tropicana Field?

The Cardinals are putting this Game 5 away before the Braves even come up to bat.

Yeah,I settled in to watch what I hoped would be an entertaining game and by the time I got comfortable it was 10-0 in the first inning.

Hard to believe the Braves have lost nine straight post-season series and haven't won one since 2001. I need to see how Oakland compares for post-season futility.

Okay, the Athletics have lost 11 of their last 12 post-season series going back to 1990, but they did sweep -- guess who -- the Twins in the 2006 ALDS.
