I just came here to post the same link as Kay, he beat me to it. Ice cold Voit instead of the hot hitting Ford and Lyons on the roster are the only two moves I wouldn't have made. Same here. Oh well. I am so pumped.  |

Not much surprises on the roster to me. I would have kept Ford and only carried 11 pitchers though. Voit was going to be on it based on his season long body of work. I guess you can only have so many lst basemen and DH's.

Although once they decide to take Edwin and about there’s no role for Ford. I think the article I shared showing some of Voit’s recent “bad luck” is probably representative of the Yankees thinking. I would have gone with the lefty bat. Lyons doesn’t make sense to me. |

What a weird season for Maybin he was within a day or two of getting cut because of roster numbers, Stanton gets injured and he survives then he misses like a month from injury himself yet is able to come back and make the playoff roster.
