Twins ownership is probably mostly ruing the purchase of those homer hankies that their fans wound chewing on, blowing their nose into, wiping their ass in the stadium rest rooms and then stomping them into the floor...The ones that were taken home will be kept in the garage to wipe off the dipsticks of their cars...

They were a fortunate team. They have several flaws that go along with that frightening offense. The pitching wasn’t deep enough to survive the loss of the suspended Pineda. They’re non-athletic in several positions and again the dearth of depth trade it’s head when Buxton went down for the season. He’s the glue in that outfield and the only threat to run on the team. As mentioned before, the defense isn’t exactly airtight. While the bullpen appeared strong down the stretch, it appears to be spotty at best, and really could only be of benefit had the Twins been able to take the lead in the games. I like Baldelli, but he had some deer in the headlights moments, and decided to make a stupid statement about secret plans to add to the front offices bozo “Slay the dragon” comments... His postgame comments kind of rubbed me the wrong way too. He said he wasn't frustrated at all. I get you are proud of your team, but show some disappointment. Your fanbase certainly was disappointed. Given how delusional he’s been this series there’s a decent chance he shows up to Game 1 of the ALCS ready to lose that defiantly as well. He might not understand his season is over.

I went with DiDi for the slam, although you can easily make the case for Gleyber.

Could have voted for the team defense, or even for the Minnesota team defense. I was delighted that this didn’t turn into a shitshow like the Red Sox series in England, which is sort of what the press was suggesting. The weather is cooling, perhaps the home runs will go hide in their burrow... Pretty pleased with myself that I discovered Minnesota’s defense as their Achilles heel, even though their hitting went a bit dead, too...Seriously a team that has trouble scoring without the HR... That's what you get Twins for beating our home run record by 1! Three straight loses and a ticket to go play golf in the offseason! Not in Minnesota! Shoveling snow maybe!

I voted for Didi! As bad as he looked at the end of the season, his production from the eighth spot and his defense were pivotal. If it were possible, I’d have had co-MVPs with Torres!

What's the tie breaker? Surprising LMH got no votes.

Late reporting precinct here coming in for Torres. I thought he had the most signature hits in the series. No qualms about Didi votes, and Judge contributed crucial plays in every game.
But I think this round goes to Gleyber.

I'll try to contribute a little more leading up to the ALCS. What a great performance in the ALDS. It looked like something from 1998!

The last few days including going to game 2 are the most fun I've had with baseball in a while! How was your Africa trip? Still jet lagged?

I'll try to contribute a little more leading up to the ALCS. What a great performance in the ALDS. It looked like something from 1998! Pipp-Pipp and a fond Cheerio to you Mr. Headache! In fact, you can have the whole bloomin’ box of Cheerios! I voted for Didi, but like you I have absolutely no qualms about Mr. Torres getting votes in this heated contest. Gosh, I recall that we used to have 60-70 votes sometimes in the old days of Scout. Twitter has about killed this form of discussion, unless kaybli’s use of Twitter draws people here by the bazillions. “Heloo. I meet Mr. Headache in jungle riding on a rhino. I do not know what a Torres is, bit if Mr. Headache say, I agree. He save my ass from 22’ crocodile at river. Vote for Mr. Torres”!...
