Supposed to rain Wednesday. That would make it interesting because that would make Tanaka available for game 4 if it got pushed to Thursday. However that also would make Verlander available for Game 5 on regular rest with no off day if that game got pushed to Friday.

The Yanks came to Houston to get a split and that's what they did, although they let a golden opportunity to take both games get away. They need obviously need more production from certain members of the lineup. This is the correct way to look at it. |

The biggest problem would be games 4-7 would all be in a row with no off day if it got cancelled Wednesday. This would make Grienke also eligible for game 4. That would make game 5 I guess Verlander vs Paxton at Yankee stadium? Then 6 and 6 if necessary Cole vs Severino and 7 who knows on either side? I would rather not have the rain because of the 4 games in a row with no travel day if there is rain. I also like the Yankees chances better with a who knows pitcher in game 4 at Yankee stadium than game 7 in Houston. |

Thank you sierchio for making an old man's day. Anyway far too many strikeouts from 4-6 in our batting order. Not a lot of options on the bench unless Stanton gets over all his boo boos. Anytime my man. I <3 boobs. I think I would put Stanton at DH and Cameron in LF w/ The Parrot on the bench... |

A problem with that would be the Astro's starters go deeper into games than the Yankees, so not having Friday off as a rest day could hurt the Yankee bullpen. |
