They're playing Marisnick because he has good numbers against Paxton though with a lot of strikeouts.

Only other thing I can think of non injury is they are going for better defense and Maybin has been good with the bat this year but he's not Stanton. |

I am guessing they don't think they will score a lot anyhow and defense will be more important. Why EE is batting 4th not lower is more baffling.
