Lineups out. Batting 9th playing CF. Stanton on the bench. Encarnacion still DH batting cleanup. This sucks for Stanton and the Yanks. Despite the injury, he had a good Game 1.

I wonder what's up with Glassman Stanton He hit in BP yesterday. My guess is that Boone wants his best defensive OF out there given who is pitching for the other team. This is an interesting analysis as well which could explain Hicks getting the call today. Possible we see Stanton as a PH with Maybin to follow as PR/defensive replacement. viewsfrom314ft.com/yankees-astros-alcs-gerrit-cole-game-3-aaron-hicks/

Not sure. Possible he thinks that Gleyber behind Eddie and Gardner in front of him will get Eddie more fastballs today hit.

Unless the weather drastically changes, looks like tomorrow's game will be rained out. There is no window to play at all as it stands looking at the weather report.

So sick of hearing how Cole is unbeatable like he's been dominant for years and years and dominated the Yankees 10000 times. Especially after everyone was saying the path for the Yankees to win this series was to split in Houston which they did.

The media is also ignoring the fact the Astros have barely had any offense the entire post season.

I'm still stuck at work unfortunately. Probably won't get home until 5:30 PM earliest.

No time for a full scouting report on Gerrit Come today. How do you beat him? You don’t. You have let him beat himself.
If we don’t chase too many change ups (out of the strike zone 61% of the time), if we can be ready for the curve ball (least swings and misses in his arsenal) and if we can elevate the ball (he allowed the second-highest HR pct. on fly balls of any MLB starter)...
If those things can happen, along with just making him work... All good things eventually come to an end. Gerrit Cole can be scores upon, and his team mates can be held in check.
Let’s do it!!!
