What a wonderful win! This team needs to show a little grit by making a comeback. Just take care of business tomorrow and Houston just may start feeling the pressure. Anything can happen in game seven. The Yankees are due to bust out offensively. Tomorrow might as well be the time! Geaux Yankees! As a gravelophile, you would love Santa Fe. You basically have two choices for your yard: rocks or dirt. Most people go with rocks in the front, then some combination of dirt, cactus, dead animals and trash in the back, behind the fence where nobody sees it except for the guys who break into your house.
Being an obliviously orderly East Coast green lawn and tree guy, I stupidly had beautiful lush sod laid in the back, had a hyperactive sprinkler system, everything you could do. The Sangre de Cristo sun burned through that stuff like a death ray.

2019 Yankees in the postseason:
5-0 with Stanton
0-3 without Stanton
He didn’t do a damn thing tonight, but the Stanton effect is real. Don’t ask for proof, it’s just a fact.

If German could have controlled his personal problems we would be in a heck of a lot better shape. Another reason to know who you have.

Being an obliviously orderly East Coast green lawn and tree guy, I stupidly had beautiful lush sod laid in the back, had a hyperactive sprinkler system, everything you could do. The Sangre de Cristo sun burned through that stuff like a death ray. Same as here in Pueblo West...I haven’t been able acquire any dead animal pieces yet, so I have to settle for replacing that with another favored decorative piece out this way. One I’m sure you saw but forgot. Actually two. People also favor rotten wood and rusted metal in their yards out this way. I did add a couple of tracks off a back hoe, and I have 5 old bulldozer tracks out back that I plan on incorporating into the landscape at some point. I thought they were quite a score when I got them, but they’re really heavy. I’m not quite sure how I’m going to move them to where I want them...Maybe chain them to the tow hitch on my pick up and drag them...not sure... I do have two tiny patches of grass I’ve managed to keep alive now for three summers... in fact, they had their best year this past year. Fertilizer works wonders...There are zero nutrients in this soil out here. Maybe minus zero if that’s possible. It’s a desert, not a dessert...

While it varies with the desert, soils can have nutrients. What they lack is water which means there is no grass to hold the soil in.
