I was very toilet shy as a child. I think I might have been in my later years of high school before I would use the rest room in school. I could hold it like I had a rhino bladder. I would suppose it was because we had outhouses at home until I was almost ten years old. Unfamiliar territory. There was usually a rather noisy environment in the bathrooms too as I passed by. I don’t know if it was yelling and fighting, or sticking kids heads in the toilet or what, maybe just the unusual acoustics, but I avoided those places like they were torture chambers. I had to leave school one day with horrible abdominal pain, which turned out to be a simple need to dedicate that I could not perform “there”, even though I did actually make an attempt, since all the other kids were in class. I never let it fly I’m my britches though...#1 or #2. This is the second straight thread I’ve visited where urination has been a topic. I can’t wait for thread #3... Now that I think of it, I went into a rest room just recently and there was a busy scene. One fellow was standing back about a foot and a half from his urinal and letting fly with stream that was as big around as my entire...ahem (okay, slight exaggeration)...I presumed he must be proud of his weaponry. I just dodged into an empty stall and took care of things... Men’s bathrooms ARE torture chambers. Too many men are pigs with poor bathroom habits, either that or there are too many dumb males with small bladders and poor depth perception. Women's bathrooms make men's bathrooms look spotless... WOMEN are pigs. I had to clean bathrooms at one of my old jobs... UGH.

I am the supervisor of three rest areas in Vermont and I must say, men and women are equal opportunity bathroom pigs.

Someone in the employee female bathroom would always leave candy wrappers in the tampon bin... so she would eat while on the can. I've found period blood and poop stains on the walls in the female bathroom (both employee and customer).. on a regular basis with the feces. Only once did I find feces on the walls/floor of the mens room.. that's my experience at least.

Only once did I find feces on the walls/floor of the mens room.. that's my experience at least. We had some odd experiences in the greenhouse with Asian Immigrants. Some of them would put their feet on the rim of the toilet and squat, dropping everything from an extra two feet of height vesting the splash of a “bombs away” approach...It was sad because the poor folks actually were not educated in toilet usage...Shen you’ve spent your life squatting in the weeds, a ceramic receptacle can be quite confusing. We worked with their supervisors to give them a clue of what to do, but it was challenging...I sometimes drive home to use the bathroom. It was nice having the freedom to do so. It was amazing the things those ladies did from a squatting position. In one area of the greenhouse we had waist high tables. They would put their feet on the edges much like a bird on a wire and work in that position for hours...while the Americans would stand on the floor and work...

This thread has made a "movement" in a strange direction. Call me when baseball cheating becomes the topic again.

I peaked at a couple Houston Astros’ forums to take their fans’ pulse regarding the cheating scandal. They were surprisingly unapologetic, singling out Mike Fiers for a breach of locker room sanctity. Personally, I’m proud of Fiers, as the fallout shall be a better brand of baseball, hopefully. That is to say, a more believable and respected competition. I felt much the same way about Jose Canseco years ago and Jim Bouton years before then. Does it really matter who shines the light on cheating, steroids, alcoholism, drug abuse, domestic abuse, etc? I do not believe in censorship, deplatforming, or shouting down others because the source is offensive or controversial or even repugnant. Truth and reason need no special protections.

Mike Fiers should be regaled as a hero. Instead, locker room mentality dictates that he committed one of the worst crimes in the sport. He told...

I too went to a few Astros communities. They are all in denial. Also prevalent is the excuse that "everyone did it." How can the fans be apologetic when the players are not? Look at the answers we got from Bregman and Altuve and the joke made by Verlander. Bunch of cheating bums. Can't wait for the Red Sox investigation results to come out too...

I think that’s a normal reaction from most sports fans and don’t think Yankees fans as a group would be any different. I’ve mentioned a few times that I consider the 2000 and 2009 Yankees championships to be tainted and the response I get from most Yankees fans is somewhere between outrage and being told that I’m an idiot because everyone was cheating so it doesn’t matter that key players on those teams are now known to have cheated. The entire premise of being a fan is rooted in an irrational connection to the thing you’re a fan of and people hold on to that irrational connection very tightly.
