I too went to a few Astros communities. They are all in denial. Also prevalent is the excuse that "everyone did it." How can the fans be apologetic when the players are not? Look at the answers we got from Bregman and Altuve and the joke made by Verlander. Bunch of cheating bums. Can't wait for the Red Sox investigation results to come out too... I think that’s a normal reaction from most sports fans and don’t think Yankees fans as a group would be any different. I’ve mentioned a few times that I consider the 2000 and 2009 Yankees championships to be tainted and the response I get from most Yankees fans is somewhere between outrage and being told that I’m an idiot because everyone was cheating so it doesn’t matter that key players on those teams are now known to have cheated. The entire premise of being a fan is rooted in an irrational connection to the thing you’re a fan of and people hold on to that irrational connection very tightly. Once, I ran to you Now, I’ll run from you This tainted love you’ve given I give you more than Any boy could give you...

To be fair, the final game for Bolsinger (career 8-19, ERA+ 79) was coming at some point. That might have been a mercy killing. Yet, it’s a great demonstration that these guys got joy out of winning through cheating with total lack of professional regard for what their opponents had at stake... Bolsinger’s career was hanging by a virtual thread on a day when the Astros were winning a laugher. They had no problem cutting the thread that day, clapping, laughing, dancing to a win... Cheating in pro sports sucks...cheating in general sucks...If you’re sticky-fingered as a Monopoly banker, you’re probably stick-fingered in life...

If you look at the data... A lot of the times there was the most banging, they lost the game...

If you look at the data... A lot of the times there was the most banging, they lost the game... Also see the note at the bottom that says other methods were also used. Maybe on those days the banging was used as a cover up?...

Once you start shoveling in the hog pen you always find out that the stuff was deeper than you originally perceived. This should wind up back in Manfred's lap, and he should be banned from the game...He knew long before he acted...
