I hope neither one them works in the major leagues again. I credit MLB for not going soft on these guys. Short of stripping the Astros of their title, I'm not sure what else MLB could have done. |

I hope that dickwad Cora is banned for life. If Hinch, who was against it, is banned for one year.. Cora who schemed it, started it, and brought his cheating to Boston should be banned for life... and hopefully has to pay his own fine.

I agree the GM may have had bad luck here. The manager knew. What is fascinating is that the scheme was primarily created by players (and Cora)not managers. But none of the players got hit. Many of course are retired or on other teams. But it seems wrong to me to not punish them. I thought the penalties were about as tough as one could expect (tougher than I expected). And if you do punish players they won't tell on their team (or ex team) of course. Cora who is probably going to get caught up in the Boston investigation as well may yet land on the permanent ineligible list.
