Luis Cessa threw 3.2 innings today, giving up only one hit with seven strikeouts!
Battle between Cessa, Loaisiga, and maybe Schmidt for the fifth rotation spot!

Torres leading the team in defensive miscues with five errors this spring. Get them out of the way now, Gleyber!

Stanton! And that's Zach Britton pitching, before Eric Kratz nailed him with a comebacker. Noetsi Neggies take on this: Stanton is not pulling his home runs. Maybe there is something wrong with him...

And now folks, it’s time for “Inger’s Irony Corner” We cry out for minor leaguers to make a living wage. Then one of them sees opportunity in an unattended baseball glove that belongs to a well-paid and very famous player. Perhaps his desire is to convert the glove to cash to help feed himself or his family in a third world country. Yes, the glove “belongs” to someone else. Someone who most assuredly never had to pay for it, not any of the dozens of spare gloves he has stashed away that have been handed to him anxiously by company executives that are dying to have him photographed with their glove, or wristband, anything. To add a bit more spice we compare a man who was paid some $26M or so last year to play in 18 baseball games. Now, THAT, is true thievery! Tune in next week for Inger’s Irony Corner when we delve into lap-top thievery schemes in an episode entitled: “Before We Used Them To Cheat”... *Note that I never said it was okay that he stole the glove, just that the circumstances here were... Ironic...

I think it is inevitable they will cancel spring training. They postponed basketball and soccer.
