The reality no one including the experts really know. The Korean results suggest this disease can be contained with limited losses. I don't think our public is willing to do the type of things that stopped it in Korea and China. We have too little respect for experts, value freedom to much, and have to weak a federal government to take the strong actions China and Korea took. That being the case, the disease will spread. So you'd rather live in China???

NOETSI = You are right again. The countries that have handled this Pandemic the QUICKEST & the BEST are (not in order):
South Korea Hong Kong Singapore China
1. They tested thousands upon thousands as quickly as possible & in some cases did retesting-- WE DIDN'T 2. They TRACED contacts with infected as Quickly as possible -- WE HAVEN'T YET DONE PROPER/ENOUGH TRACING --LACK OF TESTS--WE DON'T KNOW TRUE NUMBER OF INFECTED OR WHO... 3. They Quarantine as many as possible as early as possible--We are just beginning that 4. They put into place Social Distancing as Quickly as possible--WE just recently started that 5. They put in place 'Stay/Shelter In Place' as Quickly as possible; including major cities--We are now just implementing but not enough. 6. They Canceled all major events, non-essential travel; all travel, closed all bars, restaurants, subways, trains, malls, schools, etc. --WE have done some, but not enough.

INGER: UPDATE OF VIRUS IN BAJA:
Yesterday morning we got to our local bank at 8:00 am to get cash in case if things get worse.
The line was about 30 folks that quickly grew to nearly 100.
It took over 2-hours for us to get to a teller.
WE found out that Four Tellers had the Virus (at home) and they only had 2-left.
They were allowing only one person in the branch at a time.
WE have my Business Partner's 91-Mother living with us since Nov. 2019.
WE are very concerned about her & the virus.
INGER: If the Virus is in Nowhere, Baja = It is only going to get worst.
With your lingering illness -- YOU need to very careful. Tequila gives you her best & NOBLE says thanks for taking up her cause.

Using Colorado as an example hints that tourism plays a role in the spread. Many of the cases here are in either Denver (major airport) or the counties with ski resorts (large numbers of people crowded into small areas). I suppose the Baja may have quite a bit of tourism, as well with the beaches and warm weather. I’m doing a lot of staying at home. We went out to look for meat a couple of days ago, seeking out small meat markets, since the chain stores are sold out. When we got to our favorite meat market there was a considerable line outside the door, so we just left rather than stand in line. It’s a bit depressing without any customers to talk to, but... better alive than dead, too. I’m being very good, Dome. A little too good for my own good you could say...

OH I forgot, the Peso has fallen over 600 Basis Points = Very Bad for Mexico, Mexicans especially the poor.
Great for tourists & sad to say good for Do Me = I didn't ask for it.
Yes, between late Nov to the middle of May or so = When we get the a lot of American/Canadian Tourists.
SHIT, if you want to talk with Customers/Prospects; do some telemarketing = If you want I will help with a script???!!! Shit, we might be able to train Tequila to make the calls:
"Ma, please do not hang-up, I am a Parrot calling you to show you how you can save a lot of $$$,-- you may call me Tequila..."

In Colorado you have to make about 100 calls before anyone will answer the phone. I’m not kidding. Most people let all calls from numbers they don’t recognize go to VM. Then, you still have the problematic issue. I need to meet with these people. I need to see their electric bill, pre-inspect their breaker box, do a cursory roof inspection, and sometimes check the trusses in their attic. I appreciate the idea, and for some products in some areas it’s an excellent one. My best course of action for this week and next week is to stay home. See how this plays out by then. At that point I’ll have to see if I can find temporary work, which would put me on the front lines (it’s said Wal-Mart and some other stores may wind up being distribution points for test kits). Patience this week and next. Then I’ll need to make a move of some sort...For now, I feel it smart to isolate as much as I can...

Cabo San Lucas is a beautiful place. I used to love driving down Baja, stopping at little fishing villages to eat fresh lobster fried and dipped in garlic and butter. Wonderful! Some of the nicest people you’ll ever find, too. At one point, years ago, I wanted to sell everything and live on the beach, open a beer and bait shop and cook Cajun/creole plate lunches on Fridays. Alas, Sarah did not share my enthusiasm. She was a nester.

You will probably get a thousand dollars soon. Not sure if that really helps (its a lot of money to me).

to return to our original topic I don't know why baseball think things will be better in 8 weeks. Nothing about this virus suggests that.
