SADLY this Virus Pandemic is ABOUT to get worse if that is possible:
--When it hits Third World Countries; especially those that are very poor or involved in a conflict
--The Homeless in America = it will be like A Pandemic Firestorm
--The ICE Detention Centers = See Above
--When the Virus hits neighborhoods where the majority of those folks are very poor and living in poverty.
--Florida with all of its Old and Ill Folks.
--India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Hati, etc. well, you all get the picture...
Hopefully the WORLD would have slowed/stop this Pandemic (I doubt it); if not, there is a good chance we will have Devastating Deadly Climate Events this Summer along with the Pandemic = It will overwhelm us in just about all industries, etc.
And China is preparing for a Second Wave of the Virus...
I am now sure there will be NO BASEBALL this year.
Is DomeWorld shut down? If so, is that by government order, or have you shut it down of your own accord?

I think Third World countries have relatively fewer old people so they may not get hurt directly. The collapse of the world economy might hurt them.

I think Third World countries have relatively fewer old people so they may not get hurt directly. The collapse of the world economy might hurt them. If they’re a third world country, they have little to no connection to the world economy...and age may be usurped by other factors, like poor nutrition and squalor. A 45 year old in those conditions maybe just as subject to severe infection as a 75 year old is in the USA...

My niece has now had a fever for eight straight days, which is a first in her lifetime. Still, no testing for the virus in sight. Other states seem to be in the same boat. “Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak said he has begged the federal government for additional test kits and supplies, but the state received a notice Thursday that all of its requests for drive-thru testing pods and testing kits “are on an indefinite backlog, without any estimate of a timeline for delivery.” “This is our unfortunate reality Nevada. It’s up to us,” he said.” www.yahoo.com/news/chaos-inconsistency-mark-launch-drive-123857092.html

It really is unconscionable that we don't have proper testing in place.

So, do you actually think that the monies paid to purchase minerals actually gets into the hands a sizable number of third world residents? They may provide work for those people at $20.00 per week or so. Those monies go into the hands of the people that already have money, mine owners and corrupt government officials...

I know a fever is uncomfortable, and you generally wind up very tired, wanting to sleep. Is she taking any meds to make her more comfortable? Any other symptoms? Where has her fever settled? Is it staying in the low grade area or higher? I understand that some folks run a low grade fever for two weeks, and then this damned thing (if that is what she has) passes. She may be on the downside of the illness. I sure hope so. My pharmacist told me today that if he so much as coughs, sneezes, or has a headache CVS will make him go home until he’s well, and the only way he can get paid is to use his PTO, be it called a sick day or vacation day. He and his wife already are married, but we’re planning to do an additional ceremony for his wife’s family in Romania in May. They’re figuring that’s off. So many interruptions to life, so much disruption. I’m sending good vibrations out for your niece. I figure that as far as age goes she isn’t in the high risk group, but this still demands a serious approach. Let’s help her get well. Those of us that pray should do so for her. Those that don’t should do whatever your structured or unstructured believe will allow of you...

Believe it or NOT, but Mexico like many Third World Countries have a lot of Older People = A Simpler Life as compared to America.
PLEASE all Posters be SMART & SAFE -- There is not enough of us to begin losing some of us.

Good to hear that you’re taking care of yourselves down there, Dome. I saw you noted to me that you had some ideas on how to get some cash flowing. I am taking a telephone seminar tomorrow on how to sell the solar product remotely. If that works out well, it may turn out to be the future of the solar industry, eliminating travel or reducing travel. In the mean time, I’m stuck between getting a temporary part time job (putting myself more at risk) or... not good financially. I’m going to see what kind of job availability there is locally, and attempt to choose something that may not put in contact with too many people. Maybe stocking shelves at night, etc. when stores are closed. You stay safe too, Dome!...

HERE IS OUR THOUGHT: It may sound crazy BUT: Wear Gloves/Mask and contact all folks in your AREA, especially the Elderly and offer to go to the Food Markets. Pharmacy, etc. to get their Food, Meds, etc.
Charge them $20 to $30...
The Benefits to them: They do not put themselves at risk and still get what they need while being SAFE.
If you bunch these errands it could be only once per day--if you are shopping for 20 folks in one load = do the Math.
If you do not like the above idea; than approach Ruthie and say:
"Honey, do you remember the part of 'For Better Or Worse?' Well, we need a infusion of cash asap, so honey, get up on the table and start practicing your table dances..."
