The song 52nd street I believe has some of the best musical accompaniment… The album was such a bit machine that some of his most loyal fans deserted him for becoming too commercial, but he gained way more than he lost. He swore the only change was that people started liking what he happened to be writing. It went on a couple more decades… |

Off the top of my head, here are some of mine: Neil Young - Rockin in the Free World Powderfinger Steely Dan - My Old School Kid Charlemagne CSNY - Almost Cut My Hair The Who - Behind Blue Eyes ZZ Top - Waitin' for the Bus/Jesus Just Left Chicago Chicago - 25 or 6 to 4 Bob Seger - Turn the Page Stevie Ray Vaughan - Crossfire Gerry Rafferty - Baker Street Rush - Tom Sawyer Hendrix - Voodoo Child (Slight Return) Zeppelin - Black Dog Immigrant Song Heartbreaker So Chi, this is four and a half years late but I finally went through these songs (the ones I didn't already know) and added a few to my playlist! I'm very picky with what I add to my list so know that you have a good taste in music my friend! |
