Aside from CDs, does anyone still spin LPs? My collections are broad from jazz, classical to contemporary. Pat Metheny? Chick Corea? Stan Getz? Santana? Miles Davis? I have Miles Davis Sketches in Spain and others on LP. Pretenders, Police, Beatles....

I love to listen to vinyl because I think it's the best sound quality, but it's hard to find to the time to sit in my basement, where my home stereo is set up and play my LP's. |

I still spin vinyl when in my study working on some things. Probably have 150 - 200 LPs, many of the artists you reference. While I like and listen to jazz my roots are classic Rock. |

James Taylor? Springsteen? I have them on CD. Love Van Morrison and James Taylor, however though I am a lifelong New Jersey guy, I am not a big Sinatra or Springsteen fan. I am a huge Dean Martin fan and prefer Southside Johnny and Billy Joel to the Boss. |

James Taylor? Springsteen? I have them on CD. Big fan of Van, saw him live and he was great. Love Bruce, his band is outstanding, all great musicians. Saw him before the Born to Run album came out. Maybe the best concert I've ever seen. Like James as well, his brother Livingston has also made about 20 albums. I have a Sinatra compilation that I listen to from time to time. Love Jackson Browne, Dan Fogelgerg, Eagles, Allman Brothers, Dylan and the Band, Dire Straits , David Bromberg, David Lindley, Carlos, Mark Cohn, Linda Rondstant.....the list goes on and on. |
