Chi I'll double check, but I think they said this season all games will be played to completion, because of the season being so short.

I think it will clear up in two hours. If they do call it do they play a partial game later? Not lot of make up time The game is over and the Yanks win if they call it. works for me although we had two on and one out. Urshela won't happy

Yea look here: m.mlb.com/glossary/rules/regulation-gameIf a regulation game is terminated early due to weather and the game is either tied or in the midst of an inning in which the visiting team has taken the lead, it becomes a suspended game that will be completed at a later date from the point of termination. If not terminated early, regulation games last until the trailing team has had the chance to make 27 outs (nine innings). If the home team is leading after the visiting team has made three outs in the top of the ninth inning, the home team wins and does not have to come to bat in the bottom of the ninth.

OK, this is still an official game and the Yankees win if they don't restart.
The new rule is if the game is called before the losing team gets their 5 innings of at bats, the game will be resumed later in the season at the point where the game was stopped. In the past the game would have been replayed in its entirety and the stats from the original game would not have counted.

Why we win if they don't play? Because at least 5 official innings were played, and the Yankees did not take the lead in the top of the sixth. Because the Nats did get their 5th inning at bats. Because that’s the rule for 2020, which is because that’s how 2020 works, Russ. And before you ask your next question, no. We are not there yet!... 😂

I meant why would we cry if they don't play any more innings. A win is a win
