I still dont understand the 27 out line or what the announcers said, but it appears to be official so thats good.

Appeared to be a pitcher’s umpire tonight. Judge and Gardner struck out on generous third strikes. Looks like the book on Gary Sanchez remains the same, sliders away with two strikes. The good news is that I don’t think Gary will play enough games to reach 200 strikeouts this season.  |

Just substitute the ribeye for a porterhouse for two me and my friend ordered! And it was creamed spinach not asparagus but close enough. 
But big ups to our squad. Got a win against one of the best pitchers in the game! I was able to see Stanton's HR before we left for the steakhouse so here's this!:
All in all a great first game of the season! I'll definitely be here for Saturday's game!

Great to have some baseball back, even if it was only for five innings. Could ESPN/MLB have worse announcers than Vasgersian and Arod? Good grief, zero flow to any of the broadcast. I never enjoyed turning on Sterling and Waldman more than last night.
Nice to have an ace like Cole not even be that sharp and still not really threatened at all last night.
Stanton gonna be a beast this year, book it.
Wade can be a game changer, especially given extra inning rule (which should have been instituted in 12th inning, not 10th.)
Good on MLB players and staff finding a solution to protesting/kneeling, respects both sides of anthem drama that completely misses the overall point. Hope the players and everyone keep it up all season, don't let it fade away.

Sounds wonderful! I hear Hoboken has some wonderful Italian places and pizzerias? Absolutely! Its a smorgasbord for good restaurants! My favorite pizzeria there is Benny Tudino's. Look how big the slices are:

Cole did not look sharp but our offense did against an elite pitcher. It really shows how high the expectations are for Cole. He only gave up one hit last night in 5 innings of work. |
