On SOSH, one of them stated that Wade looks like a young Jacoby. Another just wrote, “And I turned it off”! [img src="//storage.proboards.com/6828121/images/udcwFqPimnXDtjoTmoVL.gif" alt=" " class="smile"] LOL. Glad I'm not the only one who checks SOSH for Schadenfreude. Try this one. I used to post there when it was Boston.com www.talksox.com/forum/threads/19840-8-17-Yanks

A Sox fan: “The Sox are trying to contrive Peraza as a viable -- not a Swiss Army knife -- but a... spork.“

Some gems from there:
You guys overrate this pitching staff by simply calling it the worst SOX pitching staff ever. This staff may be the worst of any ML team in recent memory.
Not a clean inning Reply: I forgot what those are again.
Some good news for Yankee haters. Regarding the HOF voting, it's one and out for Posada and one and out for Cone. That's all the good news I have.

Freaking Torres. Jeter puts that in his pocket every single time.

Freaking Torres. Jeter puts that in his pocket every single time. I was gonna say that too. Jeter makes that play every time.

So the guy that wasn’t a very good SS, Pasta Diving Jeter, is better than this one. Yanks will take the bat over the glove in the infield every time, but prioritize the glove over the bat in the outfield... until lately... the game gets confusing...

Freaking Torres. Jeter puts that in his pocket every single time. I was gonna say that too. Jeter makes that play every time. Jeter was good at going back for pop flies. heck, most SS make that play. We have already missed Didi's defense at that position. It's just a little dust in a well-oiled machine.

To be fair to Torres, he’s still young. To be fair to the Yankees, there is really no where else to play him right now. Torres could continue to improve. If not, he’ll be DJ’s replacement in a few more seasons.
I never really saw Torres as an MLB SS. He’s a bit too bulky through the shoulders for me to believe in him as one. Right now, he’s also to prone to try to make a play when the ball should be held, or go for the DP when a slow but sure approach makes more sense. His is not a head made for the position. That’s the one thing Jeter certainly had...
