Luke is impressive. I was afraid he might be a one-season wonder, but he has adjusted to their adjustments, and is a force in the Yankee lineup. I wonder if anyone who saw Foxx sees any similarity to Voit?

Snell is one ugly mofo... looks like he got hit in the face w/ a shovel as a kid Ugly pitchers have an advantage: Randy Johnson, Pedro Martinez, Matt Scherzer, Fernando Valenzuela. No matinee idols there. |

They almost got the same haircut... Jimmy Foxx was my dad’s favorite player as a boy, even though he was a Cardinals fan. |

I don't think Voit will wind up w/ a 163 OPS+ though... WE CAN WISH!! Voit was a late bloomer, but I think he's LEGIT! Plus, he seems like an all around good dude... no Domingo German situations in his future...

Foxx was so good, by the time he was Voit's age, he already had 379 homers in the majors, 334 batting average. 167 OPS+
