Tanaka just didn’t have command of anything really. He can usually spot his slider if nothing else, but not tonight.

Sit down Perez! Nice throw by Frazier! He's been good in RF.

Foxx was so good, by the time he was Voit's age, he already had 379 homers in the majors, 334 batting average. 167 OPS+ When your lifetime 162 game average is .325 BA, 37 homers, and 134 RBI, that’s a Hall of Fame résumé.

The fifth run I don’t blame on Tanaka. Voit should have caught the ball at first, and then Sanchez has the passed ball with that same baserunner on third.

Dammit. Castillo still hasn't given up a run all season.

I’m rewatching the game. Both homers Tanaka gave up were on splits that did not have any downward movement.

Great, I just got home from a family get together to see the Yankees strand the bases loaded.
Looks like, from the box score, Tanaka didn't have it but Nick Nelson pitched well.

What’s everybody’s opinion of Thairo Estrada? We’ve seen him this season at third and second base.
