Tanaka just didn’t have command of anything really. He can usually spot his slider if nothing else, but not tonight.

The fifth run I don’t blame on Tanaka. Voit should have caught the ball at first, and then Sanchez has the passed ball with that same baserunner on third. |

I’m rewatching the game. Both homers Tanaka gave up were on splits that did not have any downward movement.

Great, I just got home from a family get together to see the Yankees strand the bases loaded.
Looks like, from the box score, Tanaka didn't have it but Nick Nelson pitched well.
