Great, I just got home from a family get together to see the Yankees strand the bases loaded. Looks like, from the box score, Tanaka didn't have it but Nick Nelson pitched well. That was a great chance missed by the Yankees. Tanaka was throwing meatballs galore, hanging his splitter everywhere. Nelson was very impressive though. |

What’s everybody’s opinion of Thairo Estrada? We’ve seen him this season at third and second base. Small sample size, but it seems like he hits better in the majors than the minors. |

What’s everybody’s opinion of Thairo Estrada? We’ve seen him this season at third and second base. I like him. I'm torn on who should play second while DJLM is gone, him or Wade. I'd probably give it to Estrada at this point. Didn’t he also play shortstop and the outfield last year? Okay, last year, Estrada played left and right field, and shortstop. So, he and Wade can play almost anywhere. |

Someone needs to tell Sanchez he'd hit better if he wouldn't chase every breaking pitch in the dirt of the other batter's box. It's a flaw I've picked watching. He needs to know.

Estrada has thickened his upper body and hits the ball much harder and farther than I expected he would. Just speculation, but when he got shot that gave him some time to build some upper body strength. I then he’s a for real player that could start for a lot of teams. I like Wade much better in the field, and would give him the bulk of the time before DJ returns... |
