Wouldn’t argue with you a bit Ernesto. Two outs and nobody on early in the game is the ideal time to hit someone(never in the head). yes. Ideal time for Tanaka to make a statement. And, yes, never in the head. Chapman got too close on Brouseau. It probably scared Chapman a little too.

You’re the best Kay! What a great video! That guy does a great job deciphering the comments. After watching, I agree Tanaka’s HBP was probably intentional. I still have strong reservations about Chapman, as he is often wild and up. Mostly, the situation - bringing the tying run to the plate - just doesn’t ring true for an important game with the division leader. No problem, rizzuto! Jomboy is great.
