Wade and Ford diving toward Sanchez territory. The hitting coach's job has to be in jeopardy with this many sub-.200 hitters on the team. Heck, they could almost field an entire line up with them. Yeah, I Marcus Thames will pay the price for this regardless if it's fair or not.

I don't understand why we we're so bad at hitting meatballs. It's really aggravating.

Why are these guys taking so many called third strikes? It's absurd.

That whole conversation about not playing guys is a bunch of BS. It would be different if their "studies" really produced beneficial results. To keep doing that which keeps failing is, what, crazy?

This kid has never played in the major leagues and he's breezing right through this lineup.

Every time the Yankees stick Andujar at 3B, he makes at least one mistake.

I think I would take my chances with Tanaka here than Cessa. I'm not sure why it's Cessa coming into a one run game.

Sure, this is just an empirical take, but these players are youngish men, in good health and condition. Their total "work day" consists of 4-6 hours, part of which they are resting. It is incredible that these men need "days off" beyond the scheduled days off in order to rest. And. again, if that worked in reducing injuries, it would be a different thing. It's not working.
