Remember Joe Seadog, the moderator of the Fanhome Yankees board during those times? He used to PM me every 9/11, just to see how I was doing and give some updates on himself. He stopped doing that 4 or 5 years ago. He was already retired back then so I hope he's doing well. Wow, a blast from the past! Nice, CHI! Sanchez is the worst hitter I've ever seen in a major league game. Maybe he needs glasses. It's hard to imagine, though, that his eyesight hasn't been checked.

I always remembered his story about him and his wife getting married on the same night that Ron Guidry struck out 18 Angels. Great memory! I was a just a youngster in south Louisiana listening to that game on the radio (There was no cable TV in the sticks). When Guidry became a regular starter, the local radio station somehow began airing the Yankee games when Gator pitched. So, I was always huddled around the radio/record player wooden console (remember those?)!

Back when all electronics were also pieces of furniture. Then, if the television in the TV console died, you just put the new television on top!

I actually suggested the same thing last week Sanchez isn't even the worst hitter playing in this game, Chris Davis is hitting at the 2020 version of Sanchez for several years and he's getting paid a lot of money to do it.

I like it when we gamble and win... make their defense make the play lol, twice! Anyone else notice that we’re becoming more aggressive on the bases lately? Stealing more, too?

Kay seems resigned to the fact that the Yankees will play the rays in the first round yet the Yankees are only 2 back of the blue jays and 3 of the 4th seed.
