noetsi, you can't pull any stats out your ass saying hitting the ball hard doesn't lead to better results than not hitting the ball hard... It's just not reality.. maybe your perceived reality, which is VERY different than actual reality.. To me facts are reality. Its a point we appear to disagree on But its entirely possible players have no control where they hit the ball.

Sanchez finally comes through. (Way to go Boone!) Sanchez lifetime innFenway coming in to tonight. .282/.354/.647. 85 AB, 7 doubles 8 HR. I’d say he likes the green wall... Of course, had that been a decent slider, he’d have been dead... He's had two good AB's tonight and a strike out. Let's face it, he's going to be the catcher in most of the playoff games, so it's nice to see progress.

Brazier warming up. My least favorite Red Sox player. My least favorite relief pitcher in the entire game. Oh, I do hope we rough his crooked necked self up. Bring him on!...

Why is he going to be the catcher (I am sure you are right. I don't understand the logic). The upside is too high to sit him, Russ. If this were a typical season and this slump were hidden within early and late at bats, it would be bad, but not as noticeable as it is. Gary Sanchez IS the starting catcher of the New York Yankees. You say facts are your reality? Well, that’s a fact, Jack! ...
