There is somethin to say for these young teams, like the Blue Jays and Marlins who just so happy to win some games in make the playoffs. The Yanks are too tight right now, they need to have fun again playing games.

The Marlins didn't get a hit or a walk after the second inning, but still won. That's so 2020.

I had a phone call but was watching the game. What an absolute s#@$ show. Bad defense, terrible situational hitting, and just bad baseball. Deserved to lose this one. I'll just be happy if we make it out of these last two games healthy (who knows whats going on with Urshela). I won't even mind playing Tampa Bay. Might be better than playing Cleveland. I'm more worried about playing Tampa Bay in their own stadium than playing Tampa Bay themselves. I think the Yankees with Cole & Tanaka have a good chance in a 3 game series vs them, but playing in that stadium is terrible. White Sox and Twins are behind late so if they both lose thats 23 for Twins 24 for White Sox. Cleveland won again and have 24. However, they just mentioned on YES with these recent losses the Yankees have LOST all tiebreakers over those teams. So no matter what team is the 4 the Yankees would be going there.

Having said all that the Yankees still control their destiny for the 5th seed. Win 2 games they are 5th. A Blue Jays loss will also do it. The Blue Jays do have Roark on Sunday, but obviously I would rather the Yankees win tomorrow.

I hate watching games at the Trop Dome or whatever they call that place, plus the Yankees just don't play well on that fast grass turf.

White Sox have lost 6 in row. Hope we play them or the Twins in the first round. With our luck it'll be Cleveland.

Jeezus. FOUR errors? Hope this a quick passing disease... Makes you wanna really stab someone Here’s the problem. The A team is healthy, remember last year when the A team was suddenly together, but they weren’t used to playing together as a team? Good players don’t make a good team. They have to play together to do that... I’d be surprised if they get through the first couple rounds of this circus playoff. At the same time, we’re fortunate there is a circus. If there wasn’t, they’d be going home anyway...

I'm still hoping that we can somehow plays the Twins or the White Sox. If not bring on the Rays. Don't want to see the Indians at all. They could still play any of the 3. H2H Tiebreakers : -- The Twins hold the tiebreaker over the Indians (7-3 head-to-head record). -- The Indians hold the tiebreaker of the White Sox (8-2 head-to-head record). -- The White Sox hold the tiebreaker over the Twins (divisional record, 25-15 to 23-17). Twins 35-22 or 23 (down 3 in 9th) Indians 34-24 White Sox 34-24 We aren't really going to have a clear picture of this until after the games tomorrow, but if the twins win tomorrow the Indians can't pass them. So they are 4 or 7. Twins could be 3, 4, or 7, because White Sox only need to tie them to pass them. White Sox can also be any of the 3 spots. What annoys me is if they win that trash game on Sunday vs the Red Sox we aren't even talking about this.
