Also of note the possible 29-31 Los Angeles Angels could be seeded higher than any of these teams, because they were 6-4 vs the Astros. They would need to win their last two games and the Astros lose their last two for that to happen, but just throwing that out there. Even if the Astros hold on their most likely 30-30 record will get them 2 seeds higher than these teams.

Makes you wanna really stab someone Here’s the problem. The A team is healthy, remember last year when the A team was suddenly together, but they weren’t used to playing together as a team? Good players don’t make a good team. They have to play together to do that... I’d be surprised if they get through the first couple rounds of this circus playoff. At the same time, we’re fortunate there is a circus. If there wasn’t, they’d be going home anyway... I think they are "mostly" fine in the first round. In a 3 game series their 1-2 of Cole/Tanaka is better than most of the possible opponents 1-2 starters. The longer series could pose a problem.

Maybe catch, too...

There is somethin to say for these young teams, like the Blue Jays and Marlins who just so happy to win some games in make the playoffs. The Yanks are too tight right now, they need to have fun again playing games. and are capable of doing basic things like bunting. Or knowing how to do a run down.

I'm still hoping that we can somehow plays the Twins or the White Sox. If not bring on the Rays. Don't want to see the Indians at all. They could still play any of the 3. H2H Tiebreakers : -- The Twins hold the tiebreaker over the Indians (7-3 head-to-head record). -- The Indians hold the tiebreaker of the White Sox (8-2 head-to-head record). -- The White Sox hold the tiebreaker over the Twins (divisional record, 25-15 to 23-17). Twins 35-22 or 23 (down 3 in 9th) Indians 34-24 White Sox 34-24 We aren't really going to have a clear picture of this until after the games tomorrow, but if the twins win tomorrow the Indians can't pass them. So they are 4 or 7. Twins could be 3, 4, or 7, because White Sox only need to tie them to pass them. White Sox can also be any of the 3 spots. What annoys me is if they win that trash game on Sunday vs the Red Sox we aren't even talking about this. I'm racking my brain trying to figure out who to support tomorrow and Sunday. I just want the Indians to finish 3 or 7 so we don't play them. Since the Twins hold the tiebreaker over them its more unlikely they will get 3. So I guess I want them to lose tomorrow to drop down and then the White Sox to win. But it seems the White Sox can't win a game to save their lives right now.

The White Sox ain't winning nothing right now so I want the Twins to lose the next two games and the Indians to win the next two so the Indians pass them and become seed 3 with the Twins 4, and the White Sox 7. Then its off to Minnesota to play the Twins as long as we do our job against the Marlins!

Gary Sanchez has passed Luke Voit in this game. Sanchez now has 23 hits to Voit’s 21 homers.

Worst comes to worst, we'll lose one more game to the Marlins and the Blue Jays win their last two and we'll go to the Trop Dump. Might be better to finish off the Rays in a three games series with Cole pitching one game and Playoff Tanaka pitching another then facing them in a long series later.

Yea Tampa scares me less in a 3 game series than Oakland and their stupid foul territory and west coast jet lag.

It's strange, they are only weak defensively in three spots, SS, C & 1B. You could argue that two of those spots are the most important defensive positions on the field, but still, the Yanks shouldn't have this many errors.

Still hard to logic wtf Higgy was doing. The Yanks used two catchers last night and they both had errors, that's pretty hard to do.

Hicks hasn’t exactly played gold glove caliber defense in centerfield this season, either.
