The defense is my biggest worry right now. It doesn’t matter who’s pitching if we don’t catch the ball, make the throws, block pitches. The basics are quite shameful...We need LeMahieu and Urshela to cover the entire infield. Maybe catch, too... this is my biggest concern too. It's strange, they are only weak defensively in three spots, SS, C & 1B. You could argue that two of those spots are the most important defensive positions on the field, but still, the Yanks shouldn't have this many errors. I haven't looked at the stats but is Voit really weak at 1B???? I haven't seen much... erroneous play from him... |

When you have a guy like Gleyber out there, it would be nice to have a Mattingly-Type to save his throws once in a while... |
