I know Petco Park in San Diego is a pitcher's ball park, but anybody know or have a link to more detailed park factors such as whether it benefits righties or lefties more, stuff like that?

I think it’s more of a neutral park than anything since 2014 or so when the they shortened the distances and lowered some of the walls. The park plays very fair, except when the cool winds blow in off the ocean or the maritime mist/fog thickens the air with humidity. On those days the park is still tough to hit the ball out of. Compared to Yankee Stadium, we may feel like we’re in a pitcher’s park...

Of course Machado didn’t play in a great park for RHH in Baltimore, but he did benefit there by being able to take the ball to right. I haven’t heard any weather for the games, but with fall right around the corner the possibility for cool weather surely exists...

No rain, Low to mid 60s at night for the whole week.

Looks like Petco favors right handed pull hitters, not so much right handers that go to the opposite field, like a lot of our guys. www.petcoparkinsider.com/petco-park-dimensions

I hear Stanton has great numbers at Petco.
Edit: I looked it up. He has hit .323/.432./.758 with 8 HRs in 74 PAs there.

I think Petco should help Yankee pitchers who tend to give up a lot of flyballs.

I think it’s very hard to take away the Yankees home run advantage because we have several players that can hit a ball over 450’ on a given day...
