I knew the amount of injuries were absurd but I didn't realize it was this bad.

I knew the amount of injuries were absurd but I didn't realize it was this bad. I joked earlier this year that the six days per year the team was all together it was a great line up. If only it was six days per year. I wonder if it’s still three games if you include Sanchez? ...

Yanks haven't set their pitching schedule beyond Game 1 with Gerrit Cole. Would you start Tanaka in Game 2 or give him extra rest and start him Game 3?

Snell Game 1, Glasnow Game 2, Morton Game 3 for the Rays. One annoyance is that Gary has owned Snell with 5 HRs in 20 ABs but he'll be sitting Game 1 as Higgy will catch Cole.

The media is trying hard to make Yanks/Rays more than about baseball.

I'd go to Cole on Game 5 (if necessary) on short rest though with Monty/Tanaka backing him up.

Cole, Tanaka, Happ with Monty in the wings in case Happ sucks... hopefully, it won't go to game 4 and 5... but it will because Happ's a SUCKER!
