Huge hat tip to Higgy for blocking 3 balls in the dirt with runners on 2nd and 3rd and also getting the insurance run later. Higgy is the man!

Higashioka is so refreshing behind the plate. Pitchers do no have to worry about unleashing a nasty breaking ball in the dirt. They can throw with confidence, knowing that Higgy will keep the ball in front of him. And, he turns in an RBI as well.

The only bad news is I have a dinner party tomorrow during the game. I'll be watching but I won't be at my laptop and I probably won't be able to post my usual allotment from my phone. [img alt=" " src="//storage.proboards.com/6828121/images/gszgVuvxUtZEFrgJSkis.gif" class="smile"]
Hopefully Anthony can help with the HR pictures.

Try it at home. Win, or your money back! ...

Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports that the Rays will start Tyler Glasnow on Friday in Game 5 against the Yankees.
Kevin Cash told reporters that this is an "all-hands-on-deck" approach, and this certainly qualifies. Glasnow will be working on just two days of rest after striking out 10 over six innings in Game 2 on Tuesday. It seems likely that Glasnow will only be allowed to go through the lineup at a turn at most, and then the Rays can turn to Blake Snell on three-days rest or anyone else. The Rays will be going up against Gerrit Cole.

Cole has to be vintage Cole with Glasnow, Snell, and a rested Rays bullpen going. Even a performance like Game 1 (6 IP, 3 ER) might not cut it.

I like the Rays having all hands on deck... more of a chance of someone being off their game and staying in one batter too long...

Cc was also on two days rest for that game.
