So, what’s on the menu for tonight, Kay? Good question. I didn't ask. But the friend I'm visiting lives in Asbury Park, NJ so we'll probably have funnel cake on the boardwalk afterward! Hopefully celebrating a Yankee victory! If we win this, we need a nice kaybli-with-a-face full-of-white-powder photo shop... funnel crumbs on the boardwalk...

Okay, let me know what you see in the data listed above. The MPH is exit velocity. Lots of good data. It’s interesting that there is a small blip of positive production at the bottom of the chart, but that quickly turns to poor production until you reach a standard of 90-94 MPH off the bat to reach a point where you can become adept at getting on base, though still only rarely reach the fence. It would be interesting to see how many swings are missed within each bracket, but since it’s based on contact, you can’t measure that which did not occur...

I also forgot Paxton is ready to comeback if they win this series. So that helps even if its just out of the bullpen he's better than some of these middle relievers.

I am a data analyst only inger You were not born a data analyst. Did you never indulge in a sport of any kind as a youth? Were you not forced to participate in various sports during PE classes in high school? I always thought forcing some people to participate was very wrong. There are some people who simply don’t enjoy them and don’t have the physical qualities to allow them to. “All right, 600-pound child. Now it’s your turn to climb the rope, touch the ceiling and then slide back down”, followed by gales of laughter, for instance. We had a wrestling match once that was simply “SPLAT”. A rough country boy had to wrestle a guy who was very soft. He launched himself at the poor lad like a rocket, hitting him full force, breaking one of guy’s femurs in the process. The entire gym laughed when the guy said he thought his leg was broken... until a friend of mine went up and looked and verified it...

I also forgot Paxton is ready to comeback if they win this series. So that helps even if its just out of the bullpen he's better than some of these middle relievers. If he can come in throwing 97 at key moments to get an out or two, that could be big... If he’s back throwing 92 to give up back to back to back doubles, forget him. We have guys that can do that...

OK guys, here's a fun fact: tonight's my birthday, so there's no way the Yankees lose this game and have their season end on my birthday, right?
