With Yankees’ pursuit of starting pitching yet to begin, even a Masahiro Tanaka return seems in doubtThe Yankees are barely engaged in this market right now
The budget Yankees.

[img alt=" " src="//storage.proboards.com/6828121/images/MGJDDHsrMXMaKUaTXDWm.gif" class="smile" style="max-width:100%;"] The Yankees, Cubs and Red Sox have all been crying poor this off season. It’s amazing how the Yankees will spend a small fortune to sign a DH. We seem to value other teams’ players more than our own. Will they really lose LeMahieu over one year, when they have Stanton for seven more? By the time DJ’s contract is over, they still will have two more years for a DH.

That would mean he’s healthy and well. Him and Judge need to do that together before it’s too late...

The WS were one of the teams already on my WS List for 2021 --liking what I see...
White Sox now the team to beat in the AL Central after making their moves
While most of the baseball world is sitting back this winter, lamenting their financial losses, and shedding their payroll, the Chicago White Sox are sending out a completely different message to their fanbase.
In a span of 12 hours, the White Sox traded for frontline starter Lance Lynn of the Texas Rangers and signed right fielder Adam Eaton.
White Sox interested in Liam Hendriks, Michael Brantley
WE SHOULD SIGN LIAM

I think the White Sox are flushing out the line up and starting staff with these two guys. Not bad moves, but Lynn will be 34 in 2031. His ERA+ marks the past two seasons have been the best two of his career. Yet, the mileage on the arm is beginning to add up when you consider that he spent one year in the garage a few years back and that he carries about 290 pounds on his frame. Reminds me a bit of CC as he hit that point in his career. Maybe he can retain his level, maybe not. Eaton will be 32. He’s a defensive specialist and an on-base guy with less than average power in today’s game. He didn’t hit a lick in 2020 with a low average, low OBP. If he’s in Chicago to handle right field, he’ll have to snap back into form. He’s also spent a good amount of time on the bench the past 3 of 4 years... actually on the IL...
