Tauchman showing urgency/emotion early in Spring Training: “Mike Tauchman snapped his bat over his leg after flying out against Domingo German and then came back to homer off Gerrit Cole during live BP.” I didn’t realize he could snap a bat. Somebody’s been in the gym! Maybe he had a special bat made.  |

That's okay. It's only Spring Training anyway. Hopefully we get some more participants when the real games start at night.

I don’t know what happened, but we got three runs out of it, and I see that wasn’t Big Nose after all, because he’s up next. Maybe there was a shadow on the batter’s nose. I think someone else hit the home run, but it actually was a double off the wall because someone is on 2 Nd and we only got 2 runs not 3. No, wait. That’s Big Nose on second base after all. Unfortunately, i too have to follow the dots most the time. Who was it used to go down to Spring Training and give us reports? Was it A-man? I miss those reports.

With all the COVID restrictions, I wonder how much access reporters will have to the players and coaches during spring training? It's not like it used to be. |

Hopefully things continue trending in the right direction towards something resembling normal. Even 50% attendance would be great. |
