Good, I see that YOU are better--that is good news INGER!!! Above was very funny!!! BP is back up into dangerous level again. I’m resting today trying to get it back down, but it’s holding pretty steady. I’m told that if I rest and be patient good things will happen. We’ll see, brother. We shall see. Hoping for the best for you Inger!!!

Yankees getting boat raced by the Phillies 15-0. Yanks have three hits: Wade, Breaux, and LeMarre. The lone bright spot is reliever and Jay Happ doppelgänger, Lucas Luetge, who now had five strikeouts in two innings pitched in Spring Training.
Wojo, Abreu, and Nestor have accounted for 11 earned runs in less than three innings.
Tauchman committed his second error of Spring Training.

A performance to forget. Some good news:

I am really leaning toward Jay Bruce as the back up lefty with power first baseman and occasional outfielder, and Derek Dietrich as a bench guy. Dietrich can play RF, LF, 3B, 2B, 1B, and is also a lefty with power. If Tyler Wade, who can play every position except pitcher and catcher, is also a back up, this would be the most versatile team since 1994. That will leave Gardy and the backup catcher. Would the Yankees carry only 12 pitchers? Probably not.
There’s going to be some tough cuts coming.

Phillies announcer reading the lineup pronounced Voit as “vote.” I guess he has never watched the Yankees or bought athletic equipment during the 1970s.

Matt Moore might be a solid pick up for the Phillies. He still has a great slider. He’s added a change up. He looks much more under control since pitching in Japan.

Deivi Garcia looked pretty good. Three strikeouts in two innings. He gave up two solo dingers. The first was a hanging change up or curve. The second was a high fastball that was a missed location. Looked like Higashioka wanted it low and away. Wasn’t a horrible pitch. The Phillies batter put a good swing on it, though. Overall, he showed a good curve and got strikeouts on two fastballs and a change up.
