It’s good to see Green and Chapman not satisfied with their repertoire. Green has always needed a nasty, two strike put away pitch. Absolutely! So many foul tips to stay alive.

Wow, Cone being honest about the YES app saying they should stop the blackout restrictions. Good for him!

Wow, Cone being honest about the YES app saying they should stop the blackout restrictions. Good for him! I’d sing it from the rooftops! As if black out of the Yankees if going to make me watch the Rangers.

Nobody did the game thread today? Well, the Yankees beat the Phillies 6-1. Here was the line up:
1. Aaron Hicks (S) CF 2. Luke Voit (R) DH 3. Jay Bruce (L) RF 4. Clint Frazier (R) LF 5. Mike Ford (L) 1B 6. Kyle Higashioka (R) C 7. Tyler Wade (L) SS 8. Thairo Estrada (R) 2B 9. Andrew Velazquez (S) 3B
Cole Slaw P
I missed the game, too. I’ll watch it later tonight, if it’s archived on MLB.COM

Plus Loaisiga pitched three innings effectively, so I’m interested in seeing how he looked.

Does Lucas Luetge actually have a chance to make this team? He just keeps striking guys out.

Gardner’s performance yesterday must have gotten Hicks’ notice. Off Aaron Nola, Hicks battled the count as the leadoff man, then hit an opposite field homer.

Does Lucas Luetge actually have a chance to make this team? He just keeps striking guys out. I would certainly give him the opportunity. Luetge has paid his dues. He’s struck out ten batters in four innings. Batters just aren’t picking up his slider. I don’t really understand the Yankees infatuation with Justin Wilson. I do not believe he’s a high leverage reliever in the AL East.
