I will give Kay credit for bringing Dave LaPoint into the mix. Remember when Sterling Hitchcock was traded after complaining that the Yankees wouldn’t give young pitchers a chance: “If you come up and have one bad inning, they send you down and re-sign Dave LaPoint.” |
