I used to love those ads for Charles Atlas body-building. Kicking sand in the face of a 97-pound weakling! Especially when I weighed 96. The 97 pounders were kicking sand in my face... Bet you were bullying those 95 pounders Inger.

He's also on base. Which puts him ahead of most of our Charles Atlases. I used to love those ads for Charles Atlas body-building. Kicking sand in the face of a 97-pound weakling! Right next to the X-Ray glasses and the sea monkeys.

Okay, got out of that one. Only 1-1 but the game is nearly 2 1/2 hours old midway through the seventh inning.

Bet you were bullying those 95 pounders Inger. I was 100 pounds in first grade. Incredible. I was like 32 pounds or something at that point. You could have sat on me and gone home with me stuck to your back. I’d have never been seen again...

Right next to the X-Ray glasses and the sea monkeys. I was so upset that those X-Ray glasses didn't work. I preferred the Civil War army soldiers. They were tiny, though.

I was like a head taller than everyone, except Paul Jim Terry who was like eight years old (no social promotion then) and twenty pounds heavier than me.
