I wonder if Boone is getting the push from the front office to talk up Durbin to the fanbase since it's looking like Gleyber won't be back?

Start him in CF and give him the Volpe treatment. Taken together with the similar sentiment towards Dubrin, it sounds like the Yankees will save $$ with these two rookies and throw the bag at Soto. So if you're bringing back Soto, Judge is still playing CF in 2025. Dominquez will be in LF. In my opinion, the Yankees should leave that decision up to Judge.

Judge is the ultimate team guy, I'm sure he would do whatever is viewed as best for the team. He's played a handful of games in LF and while it would be a waste of a great arm, I think he seems more able to adapt to a new position than either JD or Soto.

Wednesdays AFL box score. Not a good day for Yankee farmhands. Caleb Durbin has an off day for him, as he goes 1-5, and 2 K's. Garrett Martin is hitless in 5 PA's with 2 K's. Jackson Fristoe gets the start and continues to struggle, giving up 7 ER's in 1.2 innings. Six hits, four BB's and a HR was his undoing. www.mlb.com/gameday/rafters-vs-saguaros/2024/11/13/787552/final/box
