Ford pops up. Why is he still up? Because nobody gives much on a trade in for a Ford...

Rich Hill has had an odd career path. His first five seasons he was almost exclusively a starter. His next five seasons he was exclusively a reliever. His last seven seasons he has been exclusively a starter.
I had forgotten that he pitched briefly for the Yankees in 2014. He appeared in 14 games but pitched only 5.1 innings. I think it's safe to assume he was a LOOGY, although I really don't remember anything about his time with the Yanks.

It's too nice out to watch this lame lineup, I'm going to take my dog for a walk. Enjoy the weather. Tell your dog hello from my dog. If you run into anyone on the walk, mention Inger in the conversation. Holley doesn't play nice with other dogs while on a walk. We definitely social distance on our walks.

Come on offense. I'm sick of these lackluster performances.

When Hill is getting that “fast” ball over and the curve on the same day, he’s tougher than rawhide. The release point is the same on both. The fastball gives the illusion of rise and the curve is late, sharp and 12-5. He has spin rates that are in the 90th plus percentile on his best days. They seldom drop below the 80th percentile...

This lineup is embarrassing. They can't do anything against the ancient Rich Hill.

What the hell was Stanton swinging at? That wasn't even close.
