I love it when batters put pressure on the pitcher and the defense by hitting the ball where it’s pitched and not just trying to pull the ball all the time. Home runs are great, but singles happen much more frequently. You can have both!

This team is so weird they run into outs, they make the dumbest plays in the field, yet they still find ways to win games. So I guess that's a good thing? The pitching has been so dominate, they've only giving up one run in the last three games. |

Was that DP bad baserunning by Gardner or was it unavoidable? Ball was lined sharply to third and was caught on the fly. Gardy had a lead but had also released toward third on contact. The third baseman threw to second, and Gardy was a dead duck frozen on the pond. |

I'm watching the White Sox postgame show and Ozzie Guillen just said that you should never throw a Latino a first pitch strike with the game on the line.
I never that one before but I guess he was right tonight!
