Boone said walker will get the starts at 2nd. Why the fuck did we trade for Drury It's strange, this seems like a good time to give Drury a consistent run. it seems like a good time, but it won't happen based on what we've seen......far more likely is to see Drury sit the game after he gets 2 or 3 hits.....I cannot get my mind around the thinking that causes Boone to do that to players.... |

I'm completely lost on the Drury issue. I know he's not a star, but he's not Walker either. Walker is looking more and more like he's finished, yet he keeps getting chances...
Could this be the one, final chance for him to show that he can still hit before they pull the plug???

Could this be the one, final chance for him to show that he can still hit before they pull the plug??? My guess is the Walker over Drury issue is a combination decision between Cashman & Boone. Who really knows which one is pushing more for Walker? |

One correction...Walker's OPS+ was 112 (was only 120 during 38 games after being traded to Brewers). Im all for giving guys until Memorial Day before making decisions about what to do with them but now we are about at the ASB...how long do we watch this guy look helpless at the plate? (and its not like he makes up for it as a plus defender, hes not a very good second baseman) |
