No. they're sitting him just because he's injured with a 6 to 8 week recovery time. there is NO CONSPIRACY. They'd want Sanchez to get those at bats to get ready for post season... Not come back in ten weeks (still needs rehab games)

2. Do you people really think the Yankees are faking this Sanchez injury to the point that they'd have him out 6 to 8 weeks? Come on guys... Be smarter than that!!! Seriously. Shows how dumb Mike Francesa is. That's who started this bullshit? Makes sense... Come on inger... Don't believe Fatcesa... You're smarter than to call for that...

Oh, I believe he's injured. But the team could take an aggressive or conservative approach in getting him back...No, I don't think this a 100% conspiracy issue...But I do believe some of Sanchez issue has become mental at this point, as well...

He definitely dogged those plays bc of laziness... Bc both times he was able to kick it into another gear when he realized he fucked up. That wasn't I'm injured and can't run hard... That's I didn't think runner would take two bases and didn't think Hicks would break up the force play

That's I didn't think runner would take two bases and didn't think Hicks would break up the force play Right. So, if I’m management and I want to nurture this player while still working to solve the issue I may want to do something to correct this without making a distraction in the press. Think about it. He gets more time to heal, plus he plays out a bit of an extended rehab, which gives him time to assure he’s well when he comes back, PLUS pull himself together physically and mentally. He can work on his blocking techniques in the minors without the glare of the TV spotlight. He can take the time to regain his batting stroke and batting eye. When he comes back up to NY, he’ll be very grateful to be back and remember how easily he could lose that terrific career he’s worked for. He should return a fully grown man, ready to face the consequences if he ever fails to hustle again. Call it what you will, conspiracy theory or whatever. I don’t think the team can afford to let this go unpunished...

Yankees' Domingo German: Leaves Thursday's game
German exited Thursday's start with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre with an undisclosed injury, Conor Foley of The Scranton Times-Tribune reports.
Foley also added that German's first pitch of the second inning was a fastball at 89 mph, which prompted a visit by the team trainer. More information should come to light on his status once he's able to be evaluated in the coming hours. This marked German's first start of the year at the Triple-A level after being optioned to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Friday.

Devastating news. They need his bat in the lineup.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see a move for a bat now. Probably Moustakas

Who else might be available? Moustakas doesn’t address a need defensively. He’s a .250 hitter who doesn’t walk much. He has power, but where does he play? Do we push Andujar off third and DH him at this point? Do we DH Bird?
I don’t really have an answer other than that I don’t know that Moustakas is the right one...
