Ellsfairy hurt again. What a shocker. [img src="//storage.proboards.com/6828121/images/MGJDDHsrMXMaKUaTXDWm.gif" alt=" " class="smile"] Figures that since we already have a Yogi in our franchise, we should also have someone nicknamed Boo Boo...

Cano with a tight hamstring. Taken out of today's game and sent for MRI. My fantasy team is taking a beating already with a lot of my regulars day to day. Luckily I have a tight bench with a lot of decent players that can play many positions

I'd be happy if he spent the whole season the DL rather than witness the miserable comeback attempt. Just gonna take away good at bats from other outfielders. Go away Jacoby, just go away!

I was speculating with Jwild over on scout as to whether this might be the 60-day strain of flu, which would necessitate putting Ellsbury on the 60 day DL, and also whether or not not this particular strain might regenerate every 59 days until the end of the baseball season. Then, in an e-mail he suggested that the total duration might last until November. After that I also speculated that perhaps it would last for the entire length of his contract, hence the lexicon "he contracted the flu". So you see, there is hope to get rid of the chump after all...
