A couple lefties face off tonight. Aaron Boone is struggling to come up with a lineup without Ford or resting a DH, so we will have to wait, but here’s Tampa Bay Leaves:
1. Randy Arozarena (R) DH 2. Yandy Diaz (R) 1B 3. Austin Meadows (L) LF 4. Mike Brosseau (R) 2B 5. Manuel Margot (R) RF 6. Francisco Mejia (S) C 7. Joey Wendle (L) 3B 8. Taylor Walls (S) SS 9. Brett Phillips (L) CF

Well, I would guess Nurse Boone would want to sit Frazier and Andujar since they must be emotionally exhausted after hitting home runs last night.
Tampa Bay Leaves, sounds like a World Football League team. Remember the Tampa Bay Bandits of the USFL? Coached by Steve Spurrier, John Reaves at QB, place kicker Zenon Andruzyshian (sp?) from UCLA. Ukrainian names are the worst this side of Finnish.
Looks like rain may wash out tomorrow, so empty the bullets in the pen. If Kriske gets in, things are either going very well or very poorly.

While we were staying in the Gulf Coast for much of this past winter, it dawned on me after the Bucs won the Super Bowl that Tampa Bay was Titletown USA. Bucs in football, Lighting won the Stanley Cup, Rays in the World Series and Tampa Bay Rowdies won whatever that soccer league is. No NBA team, so no clean sweep, but still pretty impressive.
The Rowdies play at Al Lang Field in St. Petersburg, which was the Yankees Spring Training home for many years.

Clint Frazier (R) RF I guess we didn’t call up Gittens? I’d prefer LeMahieu at second base. Odor stinks, and we have Sandwich to giveth and immediately taketh away in the infield and on the bases already.

Aaron Judge in CF? Okayyyyyyy.... Is that a first? I thought they were going to give Frazier a shot at that, but Judge is something new.

Aaron Judge in CF? Okayyyyyyy.... I didn’t even notice. Well, if I recall, he’s played there in college a few times. But, I’d prefer him in right to limit the number of fielders who can collide with him.

I don’t fear Judge in CF. Those long legs chew up a lot of ground once he gets moving, and the CF makes about 40 or so of OF throws.
In the good old days, I used to want to see Winfield in CF for the same reasons, though I think Winfield was a touch faster in his prime...

I expect Judge can handle cf pretty well. Better than Andujar in left anyway.
