Stanton crushes lefties, but another rest day I suppose. Maybe we won’t see Stanton and Judge together anymore. A break glass during playoffs strategy. Still no Gittens.

There's something weird going on. Off days Monday and Friday of next week -- Stanton is nearing every-other-day territory. Rain is threatening this one, maybe they're afraid he'll get wet.

There's got to be something else going on. Or, Occams Razor, maybe Boone is just an idiot.

Surprised that call at first was overturned. Cole should have flipped it to DJLM. But a good result.

It is great to see how exuberantly happy Gardner's teammates were for his home run. Genuine joy.

The book is wonderful, and not much like anything that has made it to the big screen. Even the one with Gary Oldman in the early 1990s miscast Keanu Reeves then for some ridiculous reason invented/inflated the character/role played by Winona Ryder. At least, Van Helsing was entertaining with Anthony Hopkins.

Cole’s fastball command is not sharp today. His velocity and spin rate are masking some poor locations catching too much of the plate.
