How lucky can you get?  I don't attribute a whole lot to luck, but that was 100 percent luck on that bounce. How about a guy who while running by the front door of a crowded pub, throws a quarter into the open doorway, the coin flies through the crowd, into the coin space of a slot machine, and wins the jackpot? |

You do need to get to Pamplona. Just saying. When you read Death in the Afternoon or The Dangerous Summer, a tour of Spain seems a necessity. My sister had a wonderful friend who was born in Spain. She wanted Sarah and me to accompany her there one summer in order to help convince my sister to go. Unfortunately, she died of cancer before we could make the arrangements. I’ve been to bullfights in Mexico, but I always wanted to retrace Hemingway’s steps in his beloved Spain. |

Solid play from Gittens. Nothing spectacular, but his feet are wet now on a stretch, foul ball, and a grounder plus flip to the pitcher covering first.
