D.J. is killing this team right now. It’s hard to kill something that’s already dead… Excellent point!

It’s hard to kill something that’s already dead… You have to go back to 2020 to find that last time he had a big hit. He was always supposed to be a complementary player. Something happened here with injuries and an unexpected opportunity opened up. It wasn’t meant to last forever. It this team had all of the pieces working as it should, no one would mind that DJ’s numbers were down. But even bringing DJ here in the first place was a tight wad move at the time. The re-sigining fo as long and as much was just foolishness, thinking he had become something bigger and would be cheaper than a real big money star. Cashman and Hal have reached the point of outsmarting themselves…

This team is so frustrating to watch (or follow the dots). They are almost inventive in the ways they find to lose games--with the constant being they're not good hitters for the most part. Maybe it'll turn around. Seems like all the dp's tonight were actually hit pretty hard, just right at somebody. Oh, well. I need to take a break from this team for a bit. Too frustrating.

At least when you watch the dots you know you haven’t over-paid for the entertainment. At least watching the dots you don’t see the dead eyes of the players. At least watching the dots the opposing dots don’t hug each other and jump up and down in celebration all the time. Maybe watching the dots is a sign of greater intellect, and a better experience. But when you watch the dots, the only games you watch might have A-Rod broadcasting. You may begin to believe something like that is normal and acceptable. It’s not. It’s a really, really sad thing…

23 runners left on base. 23! In one game!

23 runners left on base. 23! In one game! That can't be right. Can it?

Lol, no. It was actually 24. They must have recounted. Yet another way to throw a game away…

Lol, no. It was actually 24. They must have recounted. Yet another way to throw a game away… Box scores I'm seeing say 12 for tonight and 23 for the series. 23 in one game would be hard to do while hitting into 3 dp's. By the way, we had 6 dp's this series. Awful any way you look at it.

I had to bail on the game to take a quick trip to New York. I'll be back later tonight. Missed the game. Tough tough loss reading the recaps. Now this has to be rock bottom. Nowhere to go but up! I know it!

I know it! You know that place that the stuff in your toilet goes, right? Well, we’re not only there, we’re in the worst possible spot in there. We’re where even the lost gators and rats die when they get there…no one really knows the route in or out, so once you’re there, you’re there. Aren’t we down to like our 5th string first baseman now? And yet we’re still finding a way to play a DFA guy at 2nd base. One that was given to us by his team? And where the heck is DJ playing today as his batting average continues to dive? And then we have “Mr. Foibles” at SS, who also forgot how to hit for power. Then we have a guy that couldn’t cut it at third base now in left field because we want his bat in the lineup despite his .230 OBP. The 5th string of is playing cf on a regular basis and Clint Frazier’s microscopic batting average is in RF so the best RF IN MLB can DH do he doesn’t get a boo-boo, or maybe because the regular DH already has a boo-boo. At catcher we have a nut case. Other than that, we’re in pretty good shape. Yes, this team looks poised to turn on the after burners any day now…

I think that sums it up pretty succinctly.

I think that sums it up pretty succinctly. So then. You agree with me that we have a chance, right? 😂😂😂😂😂
