Well, I missed most of the game. On my way to the grocery store to get provisions for supper (Foie gras, octopus, calamari steaks...just joking, Inger, the list was much more pedestrian), a woman turned against the traffic and tore the front bumper off my car (it was actually Sarah’s car, which makes it even more disappointing). Of course, she accuses me of being at fault, despite my having the green light and the right of way going straight ahead. After waiting for four hours for the police (who never showed up), she finally agreed to exchange information. A bad day at black rock. Just seeing this the following AM. Sorry for the car misery, Rizz. At regular intervals there will be car-related headaches in our lives, and they are never convenient. I am guessing supper was fashionably late. Foie gras does not age well. My sympathies on duking it out with the insurance companies.

Kinda made me root for him I had no idea he had such a dysfunctional upbringing. It doesn't excuse everything he does, but it does make him a bit more understandable.

Donaldson is an animal, most likely having accomplished much through the power of chemicals. He’s not my kinda thing. He reminds me of some other pro athletes that went beserk after their careers ended and hurt people, or worse. I don’t even like his mother. They are not invited to my house this weekend.

Aww man, Josh was just saying how he was looking forward to having one of your condiment-free burned to a crisp cheeseburgers. Washed down with a big old frosty pitcher of grape Kool-Aid. The mother does look a bit shopworn, I think.

Those are amazingly addictive. Luckily, I never have the impulse to buy them. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about chips and salsa.

Ruthie has to have her chips and salsa and her potato chips and ranch dip. Predictably, I eat potato chips, though mostly only with a sandwich or burger. No dip of course. Surprisingly I will occasionally indulge in chips WITH salsa. Not high on my list, but doable…

It's hummus and pita for me, but the same concept. When I was in college I used to eat a snack called Screaming Yellow Zonkers. I think they were banned by the FDA around the same time as Pop Rocks. Or more likely my palate became a bit more refined and I no longer sought them out in the garbage section of the grocery.

Cars can always be fixed, with people, it's not always that easy.

I remember screaming yellow zonkers. I never had the experience of eating one…
